Greg Moin

Greg Moin
Moin Morris Schaefer

Founding Principal

Greg Moin is a founding Principal of Moin Morris Schaefer with more than three decades of extensive experience in legal practice. Before establishing the firm in Armidale, Greg worked with a leading national law firm in Sydney and gained valuable international experience in London.

Greg advises individuals, businesses and rural enterprises across a wide range of legal disciplines, with particular expertise in commercial law, agrilaw, wills and estates and property law. He is recognised for his pragmatic approach, combining strategic insight with a clear focus on achieving practical and effective outcomes for his clients. In addition to his practice, Greg has served as a part-time Senior Member (Legal) of the Guardianship Division of the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT), deciding hundreds of complex matters.

He is also an accredited mediator, regularly engaged to mediate commercial, family and personal disputes, valued for his balanced judgment and ability to facilitate constructive resolutions. Beyond his professional commitments, Greg plays an active role in the local community, contributing his expertise through various leadership and governance positions. His ongoing dedication to both his clients and community reflects his devotion to integrity, service, and regional development.


Jacob Sauer

With over 16 years' experience Jacob holds an impressive educational background, having completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Professional Accounting from the University of New England, a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting from CAANZ (Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand) and a Graduate Certificate in Internal Auditing from IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors).

Jacob specialises in various area's including Public Sector accounting and assurance, carbon-neutral consulting and review, clean energy assurance, internal audit, small and medium enterprise risk and improvement reviews, trust account external examinations and self-managed superfund auditing.
