We have an opportunity for a Compliance Officer to provide critical professional support to our people who are based in multiple locations. The role is full time, however it could be tailored to part time hours for the right candidate. We are also flexible on location with the opportunity to be based in either Tamworth or Armidale. Given the dynamic challenges and growth in the firm, this role has sufficient career empowerment to make the role the candidates very own. There is opportunity for personal growth and career development.

Key Responsibilities

Key 1

Completing activities required for ongoing compliance of our Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) with the support of an external compliance consultant.

Key 2

Overseeing our Peer Review processes, seeking legal and technical support where required.

Key 3

Manage our corporate risk mitigation plan.

Key 4

Responding to specific legal, governance, risk incidents including working closely with the Leadership Team for resolution.

Key 5

Overseeing compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and liaising with Human Resources (HR) in terms of incidents.

Key 6

Researching and providing advice on changes in industry regulations.
