We have some exciting news.
We have recently finalised negotiations with Edwards O’Connor Chartered Accountants (Tamworth, Glen Innes and Narrabri) to join with Forsyths in a merger effective 1 July 2020.
Last year Forsyths approached Edwards O’Connor to explore the possibility of joining the two firms with the intention of leveraging the best of each, to develop opportunities for growth and innovation.
It became clear that both firms share similar professional standards and a relationship-based care to clients, our team and the community making them a strong cultural match.
As part of the merger, Edwards O’Connor Principals, Megan Edwards and Karly Davidson will become Principals of Forsyths, joining the current ten Principals. Megan and Karly are two very successful businesswomen who have a wealth of experience and extraordinary people skills.
The Edwards O’Connor team of 15, including accountants and their support team, will relocate to the Forsyths building in Tamworth located at 201 Marius Street.
Edwards O’Connor was established in 2009, and in merging with Forsyths they will continue their tradition of personal client service, with the support of a larger firm.
Forsyths is now in its 99th year of business and we are grateful for your ongoing support and look forward to working with you and our communities for many years to come.
