The art competition is open to everyone, providing an exciting opportunity for artists of all levels to showcase their work and be part of this vibrant community event. With categories spanning various artistic disciplines, there’s something for every creative mind:

Painting – Any painting medium

Drawing & Printmaking

3D Artworks – Sculptures, carvings, weaving, mixed media, and more

"Our Place" Category – Reflecting a sense of belonging to the Gunnedah and Liverpool Plains region, including Aboriginal artworks

Creative Pottery – Hand-built and thrown ceramic works

Novice Category – For artists who have not yet won an art prize

The Grand Champion Prize, proudly sponsored by Forsyths Gunnedah, awards a $1,000 cash prize, recognising outstanding artistic achievement.
