Finalist in the Outstanding Employee category

Finalist in the Outstanding Employee category

At Forsyths, we’re passionate about recognising the incredible people who shape our culture and drive our success. In August, we were thrilled to celebrate Diane (Di) McLeod who has been named a Finalist in the 'Outstanding Employee' category at the 2025 Tamworth Business Chamber Quality Business Awards.

The awards evening will be held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre on Friday, 5 September 2025  and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see Di recognised alongside so many passionate and hardworking professionals across our community.

Di’s journey at Forsyths is a true story of growth, leadership, and impact. Joining the firm in 2010 as a Bookkeeper, she has steadily risen through the ranks, achieving a ground-breaking milestone in 2024 as Forsyths’ first-ever non-fee-earning Director of Leadership and Development.

In this role, Di has redefined how leadership looks within our firm. She has transformed our People & Culture function into a strategic force for career development, leadership growth, and values-led culture. From designing and rolling out our career development framework to facilitating leadership coaching and mentoring, Di has created pathways for every team member to grow, achieve, and thrive.

What sets Di apart is not just her achievements, but the way she achieves them. Guided by her values of Connection, Joy, Inspiration, and Courage, she leads with empathy, fairness, and integrity. She challenges us to be better leaders and colleagues, all while ensuring that Forsyths remains a supportive, progressive, and people-first workplace.

Her contribution has been nothing short of transformational paving the way for cultural change within Forsyths and even influencing best practice across the wider accounting community through her industry collaborations.

Being named a finalist we believe is an extraordinary achievement in itself, and we are so proud to see her passion, commitment, and leadership recognised at this level.

Good luck Di. You truly are an outstanding employee, an inspiring leader, and a role model for us all.
