Need help securing an experienced auditor for your Emissions Intensity Determination (EID) application audit?

At Forsyths, we're committed to creating a more sustainable future through responsible energy use. As a registered Category 2 Green Energy Auditor with the Clean Energy Regulator, we're proud to offer clean energy assurance services to the community.

We're part of a select group of organisations in regional Australia that are making a positive impact, and we're a preferred supplier for audit and assurance services under the Federal Government's Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) and National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) frameworks. With years of experience conducting initial and subsequent assurance engagements, we're well-versed in carbon abatement projects, including those in piggeries and landfills. Our network of experts enables us to provide our clients with peace of mind that their energy usage is contributing to a greener future.

As you're undoubtedly aware, recent regulations Emissions Intensity Determination requires the EID application to be submitted to the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) by 30 April 2024 accompanied by an audit report from the registered Category 2 Greenhouse and Energy auditor.

The Clean Energy Regulator (CER) requires a detailed Emissions Intensity Determination (EID) application to be completed by the responsible emitters in accordance with the Safeguard Mechanism Rule 2015.

Each EID application must come with an independent audit report due by April 2024

EIDs set the facility-specific emissions-intensity (FSEI) for production variables at an existing facility. The financial years from 2023-24 to 2029-30 will use these FSEI values for annual baseline emissions number calculations.

We know that finding experienced auditors in this specialised field can be challenging.
